Are you a 13 or 14 year old who is ready to level up in both skiing/snowboarding ability as well as learn the art of teaching?
If you answered yes to any of the above, this is the program for you!
The Junior Ski/Snowboard Instructor Development Program builds personal riding skills while introducing the essentials of teaching—games, lesson tools, child development, and class management.
It’s the perfect launchpad for young leaders on snow.

($275 for the season)
The Junior Ski/Snowboard Instructor Development Program is designed as a intro into the working world. Candidates can expect to fill out our application (on our reservation request system), set an appointment for and complete an interview, attend an orientation (video provided if timing doesn’t allow), complete our onboarding process AND work through a vigorous yet flexible training program, before “passing” at the end of the season with a job offer for the following year.
At QSSS we fully understand crazy busy family schedules! Thus Flexibility is a Key part of our programing. We will have a set schedule of trainings for our staff on select days, posted by mid-December with topics etc.
We will require a total of 3 “Fundamental teaching focused trainings” (Typically on Sunday’s) and 3 “Skill Based” focused clinics (typically on Saturday’s). Along with hands on shadowing/training requirements of at least 8 group classes and 2 privates).
When you complete these trainings is totally up to you/your family! No need to tell us before attending, just make sure to mark in on your contract before handing it in at the end of the season!
